Our “What’s Your Story?” video series continues with Jacob Morgan from Chess Media Group. His company provides tools for small businesses as a management, consulting and strategic advisory firm around collaboration. They service large enterprise companies so they can be more successful by engaging their customers and employees within the workplace.
“We love what we do. We’re a small company and we started doing this just because we love engaging and helping businesses and believe in using collaboration to change the business world so, I think that’s what sets us apart,” says Morgan.
Using different systems to run his business made it extremely difficult for Chess Media Group to grow.
“It just became a nightmare! I mean, it was really hard for us to do any type of integration, any custom work that we needed done we needed a developer to do it; you know, do coding or do some customization. I couldn’t do anything myself,” says Morgan.
He needed a solution to save time and allow the collaboration in his own business to happen easily.
“Finally we made the decision we’re like ‘Okay well, we did talk to Infusionsoft let’s see what we can do’ and we started using it and it’s by far the best decision we’ve ever made. Saved us so much time,” says Morgan.
And, with the correct tools for small business, Morgan says success is bound to happen.
“Business success: working with clients, working with great companies, getting a lot of feedback from the people that we work with, putting out great resources and seeing those resources get consumed and just getting a lot of engagement, more recognition, more discussions and at the end of the day, you know, revenue that comes to the organization.”
